Augmentative Communication in Practice’s main activity is the organisation of an annual Study Day in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Study Days have been held at different venues in Scotland almost every year since 1991. This year’s Study Day will focus on the use of eye-pointing and eye-gaze to enhance communication.
We also organise other occasional events such as Family Days and Technology Days.

2004 - Arts AttAACk! An introduction to various arts-related activities for AAC users.
2005 - Successful Literacy for Children with Severe Communication Difficulties: What does it take? A presentation by Dr Karen Erickson from the Centre for Literacy and Disability Studies, North Carolina, USA.
2006 - Practical Solutions to Support Communication. Keynotes by Annalu Waller, Scott Barbour and Jeremy Linskell and a choice of 14 workshop sessions.
